Bringing Joy Through Colour
For me, painting is about celebrating life’s simple beauty. A field of wildflowers dancing in the breeze, the warmth of a summer afternoon, the ever-changing colours of the sky, or the peaceful calm of the sea-view, these are the moments that inspire every piece I create.
As a self-taught artist, I’ve discovered that art isn’t about perfection. It’s about emotion, expression and finding joy in the creative process. My loose impressionist style allows me to paint freely, letting colour, texture and movement tell a story.
My hope is that each painting brings a sense of peace, happiness and connection with nature into your home. Whether you’re collecting original artwork, browsing prints or simply enjoying the gallery, thank you for being here and sharing this journey with me.

Born in Sheffield, I loved to create even as a small child, winning my first art show at Sheffield Museums at aged 7 with an impressionistic painting of fireworks. I would consider myself a true ‘Yorkshire Lass’ despite moving to Plymouth aged 12. I think the Peak District and the Devon coast have certainly influenced by love of nature, being outdoors and the flowers and seascapes I paint.
After school, as inevitable with most of us, my creativity was suppressed with life. I moved back to Sheffield in my thirties and a few years ago I bought my first home. We wanted some art for the walls and picked up a paintbrush and canvas and I fell in love all over again. The passion to create came back and I haven’t really stopped since.
Entering a local art show with the encouragement of family and friends was a turning point for me. Winning in two categories gave me the confidence I needed to show my work to the world and here we are.
I mostly paint from my little studio in the home I share with my husband Paul and our two dogs Reggie and Mable.
I have a beautiful view full of flowers, trees, birds and the rolling hills of Sheffield. On a sunny (or not sunny) day, there is no where I’d rather be creating something happy!
